What does “idiot” mean?
Amahatotchi

Amahatotchi (あまハートっち), spelt Amaheartchi in Japan, is a female Tamagotchi character who debuted in Tamagotchi!: Legend of the Pure Notes. On the Virtual Pets, she debuted as an NPC on the Tamagotchi Dreams 20th Anniversary version that can be found in Present Island.

Amahatotchi lives in Tamagotchi Town, and helps out at the TamaCafé with Lovemamalitchi, usually when Lovelitchi is at Tamagotchi School or doing her idol activities, because of her unique ability at creating sweets from scratch.

She also wants to work at TAMAX-TV with Lovelin, but her forgetfulness and naivety means that she would forget all her lines.

She ends all her sentences with the verbal tic "-hato", which is removed in the english dub. Also, when she wants to call somebody "-sama" (e.g Mametchi-sama) she says "-ama" instead (e.g. Mametchi-ama).  "-ama" is derived from "amaku", which means sweet in Japanese.

Appearance[]

Amahatotchi has creamy white skin and large, deer-like ears that have small red hearts at the tips. Her eyes have blue irises, asterisk-shaped highlights, and 3 eyelashes on the bottom of each eye.

She wears a light blue headband around her forehead with three big pink Tama-Hearts, and a tuft of yellow hair coming from it. Her dress is light blue with a red heart in the middle, with pale pink fluff at the bottom. She wears tall pink boots with pale pink fluff on top.

Personality[]

Amahatotchi is quite ditzy, yet very romantic. Unfortunately, she tends to get a crush on every Tamagotchi boy she sees.  Her dream is to one day get married, but she hasn't even been on a date yet. She has a big heart, but isn't very intelligent, and needs her classmates, usually Mametchi or Mimitchi, to help her with her homework.

Amahatotchi is also terrible at following directions, and remembering important things. Fortunately, she is unusually lucky to an extreme extent, and somehow manages to make delicious sweets by mixing random ingredients (such as Pineapples and Watermelons, or Coconuts and Raspberries) together.

She is very kind and helpful, but sometimes she accidentally causes trouble rather than being any help. Many mean and/or rude Tamagotchis, such as Spacytchi, like to tease her, but she doesn't care, because she doesn't even know what insults mean. It is somehow impossible to offend her in the slightest way possible.
